B. Roberts Corner Store, c. early 1900s

Stocking 150-Year-Old Shelves:

Bob's Country Store

Bob’s Country Store is a modern-day staple of the Roseboom community. Standing on the corner of the intersection of routes 165 and 166, the store’s bright, white wooden façade with large windows and vintage gas pumps out front make Bob’s Country Store a local landmark.

The corner store has gone through several identities and generations of ownership since it was first opened around 1856. Whether it was known as B. Robert’s, Arrowhead, Clearwater, Ted or Bob’s Country Store, local residents knew they could find groceries, gas, and even a justice of the peace or postmaster. Two generations of the Weeks family ran the store from 1972 through 2018. Now, Mary Marinetti and Jerry Rouse are proud owners of Bob’s Country store, and keepers of Roseboom’s corner store heritage.

It’s always had everything.

It’s wonderful. People from other places love it

and I count my blessings that we have Bob’s Corner Store.
